Using the Chat Feature

Connected Caregiver provides a convenient chat feature to help stay in touch with your Care Circle. To get started simply follow the instructions below.

Creating a new Chat Conversation

  • From the Home page, tap the care circle icon in the top right of the screen
  • Then tap the "Chat" button at the bottom of the screen
  • To start a new chat, tap the blue "Plus" button
  • Choose the members of your care circle who you wish to include in the chat
  • Tap "Create Group Chat"

Send a new Message

  • If your group chat has already been created, simply tap on the conversation from the chat menu to open it up
  • Type a message or attach a file from the "New Message" field at the bottom of the screen. Tap the blue ^ arrow to send it

Edit Conversation Details

  • To edit the group, tap the group name at the top of the screen. The default name of the group will be the first names of each group member
  • To change the group chat photo and name, tap the "Edit" icon in the top right
  • To completely delete the group chat, tap "Delete Chat" then confirm deletion on the pop-up
  • To add or remove chat members, tap "Add/Remove Chat Members" then make your changes on the pop-up
