Add and Manage Medication Schedules

Adding Schedules

Medication tracking is one of Connected Caregiver's most popular features. To take full advantage of medication tracking, you are able to add medications as well as medication schedules. This article is about adding medication schedules. Click here for instructions on adding medications.

  • Tap the "Medication" button (bottom navigation) from anywhere in the app to reach the Medications page
  • Ensure that you have "Schedule View" selected from the toggle switch at the top of the screen
  • Tap the blue circular "Plus" button to add a schedule
  • Add a name for the schedule that best describes it For example "morning medications"
  • Tap the "Select a Frequency" button
  • Choose a frequency option that best reflects how often the user would take the medications assigned to this schedule. Custom frequency options are available if none of the suggested

  • Add a start and end time in which you would like to begin the window for this schedule

For example if the medications that will be part of this schedule should be taken in the morning, you may want to set a start time of 7:00 AM and an end time of 8:00 AM

  • Add a date to begin the schedule

For example if the user is already taking the medications assigned to this schedule, you may want to set the start date as today or tomorrow

  • Tap the "Interaction Tracker" button
    • If you already have a Prompter Connected Pillbox, it should be automatically assigned to the schedule, and you won't have to change your selection here
    • If you do not have a Prompter Connected Pillbox, you can purchase one, or continue creating the schedule without one. If no Prompter Connected Pillbox is assigned, you will not be able to keep an interaction history, or be alerted if pill times are missed
    • To purchase a Prompter Pillbox, click here or tap the "Purchase New Tracking Devices" button in the app

  • Tap the reminder time button
  • Choose a reminder time from the list and tap "Save"
