Default Alert Channel Settings

Alert channel preferences can be set globally by using default alerts. After setting default alert channel preferences, each individual alert type will automatically share these preferences.

To set default alert channel settings, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the side menu by selecting the hamburger icon in the top left corner of the app
  • Select “Settings”
  • Select “Default Alert Settings”
  • Specify the alert channel types for each channel

Tracking Cards

Tracking individual measurements and events is essential to get the most out of your Connected Caregiver service. With Connected Caregiver it’s possible to track several different vitals measures including  Blood Pressure, Weight, Blood Oxygen Level, Blood Sugar, and Wellness. For information regarding wellness surveys, click here. You or anyone in the Care Circle can manually enter these measurements to create a digital record for your Loved One.

To start tracking, simply turn on tracking cards for each measurement or event that you would like to receive alerts for by following the steps

  • Navigate to the “Tracking” page by selecting “Tracking” in the bottom navigation
  • Select the gear icon in the top right corner
  • Tap the toggle switch to turn on the relevant cards and/or create a custom tracking metric

Connected Caregiver also offers connected devices that use a dedicated cell connection to upload the data to our servers. To order a connected device, simply tap the "Cart" button underneath the toggle switch for the corresponding vital card.

Individual Card Alert Settings

For each card you would like alerts/reminders for, select the bell icon in the top right corner of each card. This will let you define thresholds, schedules, and modify default alert channel settings. For specific numbers to use for threshold settings, please consult with your physician. Connected Caregiver has developed this Measurement Threshold Worksheet which your doctor can help you fill in.
