Types of Accounts

This article contains instructions for creating your account as a Loved One. Instructions for the Primary Caregiver

By default, a Loved One is added to your care circle with just a first and last name and an optional phone number. With just that information, your Loved One will not be able to login and use the Connected Caregiver app. If your Loved One would also like to use the app, you will need to add an email address to their account.

  • Navigate to the Care Circle by tapping the Care Circle button in the top right of the app
  • Tap on the Loved One's profile card to open their profile
  • Tap "Edit"
  • Add in a valid email address and tap "Save"

After completing these steps, your Loved One will now be able to create a password and then login. Provide them with the instructions in the next section of the article to do so.

Instructions for the Loved One

Before getting started, your primary Caregiver should have added a valid email address to your account. If you do not have an email address on file for your account, or you aren't sure, check the previous section of this article.

  • When you open the Connected Caregiver app for the first time, tap the "Sign In" button at the bottom of the page
  • Next, enter your email address and tap where it says "Click here to reset your password"
  • After creating your password, return to the Connected Caregiver app and enter your password
  • Tap "Log In" to complete the account creation process
